Jacob Slaughter was born about 1760. William Slaughter, Jacob served as a private in the American Revolution in North Carolina. The family left Virginia and setted near the forks of the Holston River in what is now Sullivan County, Tennessee. Jacob was on the 1835 pension roll in Sullivan County, Tennessee. |
